A Day at Shaker Village!

We played hookey today from grass cutting, laundry, and going to the dump to spend this magnificent day at Shaker Village! It was the most perfect relaxing fall day. They were having their annual WOOL Day, there were sheep and exhibits galore. I had visited Shaker Village as a child with fond memories and was anxious to take Scott and Louisa there for their first visit. We took a excellent tour of some of the buildings. I am convinced the place is haunted. A history lesson for sure. We had Bison burgeres for lunch and some treats from the gift shop for the ride home, Sasparalila Soda was GGGreat! Louisa fell asleep before we could get to the car. She had a great time running over the Kelly Green lawns, and collecting huge pine cones. Thanks for a fun fall day Dada and LALa

certainly a wondeful time indeed, thanks babe for pushing me to do something else than "work", "chores", "projects" or "skiing", really was nice to just chill with my girls!!!

those were some darn good BEANS, going to have to add that right up there next to delicious potatoes...i documented the process making them with Louisa yesterday, too funny how she gets into cooking!!!
