Sweet Hazel 9 Weeks

I got some snuggle time with Hazel this week. She is growing so fast. Such a beautiful babe.

Soft green with sweet petals, my gardens :)

Vespers
The golden sun has gone, the busy day is done.
Twilight has come and with it peace draws near
To dwell an hour .within my garden walls, while in
The lambent sky the first pale stars appear.
The wheeling shadows that so slowly marked the hours
Have left no impress on the tender grass,
Nor does the air hold fast the patterns bold and free
That winging birds weave as the warm days pass.
The rued pool is stilled at last, and Lily buds
Prepare to open gently to the night
And to the questing moth whose fragile, gauzy wings
Quiver too rapidly for human sight.
In. this tranquillity, touch, hearing, sight are lulled.
I am as selfless as the scented airs
That wrap me round, while daylight's drowsy flowers
Send out the fragrance of? their vesper prayers.

Dad's Ride the Rails for Free on Father's Day!

Dad's ride the rails for free on Father's Day. We did this last year and enjoyed it so much we thought we would do it again this year. We had a great time, Chet was so cute. He loves trains and thoroughly enjoyed himself. Was beautiful weather, the train whistle was a little loud on the return trip!

Dance Recital a success!

All went well with Louisa's Dance Recital, she was so cute and did a great job :) She got lots of wonderful flowers!

Dance Recital Season!

Louisa had her dress rehearsal today for her recital tomorrow afternoon. It really is hilarious! The other Moms and I laughed so hard watching them. If they do their dance right tomorrow it will be boring compared to today! The First photo is of Chet and Dave on my new Toy! My neighbor got in a bad car wreak and cannot ride it anymore, so it has come to me :) Getting to the barn has just gotten a lot more speedy!
