Apple Orchard in the Spring

Most of us only visit Apple Orchards in the Fall. I have always thought about going in the spring. We tried this weekend but the gale force winds kept us home. After school I told the kids we were going on a picnic to an orchard. Louisa was happy to find out it was the same orchard she visited this past Fall with school. It was a really foggy rainy day when we went in the Fall. I was told to go back on a clear day to see the view. So that is exactly what we did. There are a bunch of wonderful fun toys for the kids to play with and fresh green grass for our blanket. We stayed and ate, played, wondered, and sniffed sweet pink blossoms for 2 1/2 hrs. Take some time and stroll alongside the Apple Trees in the Spring. It is beautiful.

Little Chilly

Was odd to hear the peepers with such cold air blasting over my wind burned cheeks. I could not help standing outside on my dock shivering gazing upward at the sky. It was so clear I felt like I could reach right up and grab one of the blazing stars right in my hand. Beautiful sky tonight. Just beautiful.

This is a workout!

Feeling the need to get out and burn off some energy this am. I do not have a double jogger, so the double Chariot does the job! Kids love it, they giggle the whole way. Was a beautiful sunny day the kids picked a million Dandelions and decorated the whole barn with them. Kids have an amazing way of warming your heart.
