Apple Orchard in the Spring
Most of us only visit Apple Orchards in the Fall. I have always thought about going in the spring. We tried this weekend but the gale force winds kept us home. After school I told the kids we were going on a picnic to an orchard. Louisa was happy to find out it was the same orchard she visited this past Fall with school. It was a really foggy rainy day when we went in the Fall. I was told to go back on a clear day to see the view. So that is exactly what we did. There are a bunch of wonderful fun toys for the kids to play with and fresh green grass for our blanket. We stayed and ate, played, wondered, and sniffed sweet pink blossoms for 2 1/2 hrs. Take some time and stroll alongside the Apple Trees in the Spring. It is beautiful.

Great idea and great pics!!
Thanks mom it was really relaxing and fun!
Looks like you had a better day than we would have had yesterday with the wind. Such a cool idea! I love how the orchard encourages Spring visits.

Apple Blossoms (spring)
In May, the apple trees burst with apple blossoms. Stop by and see the orchard alit with little white and pink flowers, and listen while bees busily buzz from tree to tree. Once pollinated, each flower will become an apple. Take pictures and leave footprings. But because these are our future apples, the cutting or taking of branches is strictly prohibited.
