Happy 2nd Birthday our Sweet Louisa Rose!!

Well our sweet Louisa is 2 today!! We had a great day! We headed to the barn so she could ride her beloved Jing Jings then home for an extra long bath, another one of her favorite things. Then we headed off to pick up Grammie Grandpa and Auntie Anne at the Bus station. Then over to Nanna's for Pizza and cake. The Nowlans were in town! The girls even got to play with the Wii. Thank you Nanna and Pop Pop for the beautiful cake and fun new Trains!! More partying tomorrow!! For the record Louisa did NOT eat her cake! Maybe next year!?

Here we Go Again

Scott and I were relaxing watching the Oscars during the snow storm last night, when at about 10:30 the power goes out!! Yuck! I end up sleeping on the couch because I cannot hear Louisa, well it is not restful sleep, At about 12:30 it came back on, up to bed for me, only for it to go out again, back down to the couch. Scott wakes me up at about 5:30 to haul the generator out of the basement, fun fun, in the snow and cold, windy morning! After hauling the blasted thing out of the basement, off to the barn I go. I had left the horses in, well they were staying in! There was not way I was shoveling all that ice and snow at 6:00 am after not sleep more the 4 hours. So here are some pics of the pretty sunrise, and the snow covered trees. Old Man Winter I Give up!!!!!!!

You know you live in NH when.....

You know you live in NH when the Frost Heave signs come out, the roads turn more like the surface of the moon. The Christmas decorations are still 90% hidden by the *$*$% snow! There is hope.....looks some brave little green bulbs have popped their little heads up!!! Will spring come.....I know it will but this time of year can be LONG!!!!!
