One of Mum and Ev's true SALT of the EARTH neighbor Bobby Warren offered to take us out on the SEA BREEZE to check some of his 800 traps. What a treat. We were out from 9:30-1:30. Toured some of our favorite spots around Vinalhaven including Lead Betters Narrow, Crockets Cove, Fox Island Thorofare. Then lobstered off of Dog Fish Island, finished off with seal spotting on the way back to Old Harbor. Kids were all in heaven except Chet out was lulled to sleep by the swaying sea. He slept the whole time in the wheel house. We did bring a Lobster in to snuggle ;)
